There are a variety of coverage’s you can choose from when you purchase your policy. The first type of coverage is the actual cash value payout where you receive the market value of the vehicle at the time of loss. The second type of coverage is agreed value where the pay out is agreed upon when the policy is purchased, regardless of current market value. A agreed value coverage includes vanishing deductibles and is currently only available for boats. The third type of coverage is total loss replacement or purchase price replacement. In this case Progressive will replace your boat or pay the original price of the boat. Total loss also includes vanishing deductibles and can be purchased on new boats no more than one model year old.
