Cool Parking Apps
There really is an app for everything nowadays, and parking your car is no exception. Whether it’s looking for a place to park, or finding your car when you’re done, you are sure to find a solution to your problem.
ParkMe
This free app shows you all the parking available close to you and tells you how much it costs. Though it doesn’t work in all cities, it does cover most of the major ones. You can even go into the settings and ask it to show you only the closest parking or only the cheapest.
BestParking
This parking app does a lot of the same things as ParkMe, but you can also search for certain areas to plan your trip ahead of time, search airport parking and get coupons for certain parking lots to save you a few bucks. As with ParkMe, this app doesn’t include all cities, but it does include most of the cities that are hardest to park in.
Where Did I Park?
This app, also free (I’m a huge fan of free), helps you find your car after you have parked it. Though there are other apps that perform this service, this one had virtually no complaints.
Better than a pad and paper because you can use the GPS to remember where you parked and then follow the instructions later to get back to it. Also, it includes a reminding alarm for when you’ve parked in a metered area, that way you can get back to your car before you get a ticket or get charged more money.
